Vihaan Rawal- President and Co-Founder
Hello! My name is Vihaan Rawal, and I'm thrilled to be starting as a freshman in the Cambridge Program at Juanita High School. I have a deep passion for exploring the intersection of computer science and business, as these fields offer exciting opportunities to innovate and make a meaningful impact. Beyond academics, I'm an avid cricket enthusiast and find great joy in participating actively in extracurriculars like the Science Olympiad and Model United Nations (MUN) Club.
At VK Math Tutors, I'm fortunate to be part of a team where I help students develop their mathematical skills. It's incredibly fulfilling to witness their growth in confidence and ability. By creating a supportive and engaging environment, I strive to instill a love for mathematics and critical thinking in each student I work with. My goal is not only to assist them academically but also to inspire them to embrace lifelong learning.
Outside of academics, my motto, "Learn Today, Lead Tomorrow," reflects my commitment to continuous growth and leadership. I believe in the power of education to shape our future leaders, and I'm dedicated to contributing positively to my school and community.

Khush Kothari - COO (Chief Operating Officer) and Co-Founder
Hello, I am Khush Kothari, an enthusiastic math tutor based in Redmond, Washington. I am currently attending Timberline Middle School. In the future I will be attending Tesla STEM High School. I am also a soccer enthusiast. My love for mathematics is contagious, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge. My teaching approach emphasizes personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s needs. But I am not just about textbooks and equations. When I’m not solving math problems, you’ll find me exploring the great outdoors, seeking new challenges, and pushing my limits. VK Tutors, the non-profit math tutoring service I co-founded with my friend Vihaan Rawal, reflects this dynamic spirit. With free trials and a fresh approach, VK Tutors aims to help kids struggling with math discover the joy of learning. Elaine Jin- Vice President
Hello, my name is Elaine Jin and I am an incoming freshman in the Cambridge Program at Juanita High for the class of 2028. I am passionate about learning from and with others and passing on knowledge to future generations specifically on science and liberal arts topics. In my free time, I enjoy painting, playing the piano, competitive swimming, and participating in my school's MUN and science Olympiad clubs. This summer I will be volunteering as a youth leader at a summer camp program, and I am ecstatic to be part of a student’s mathematical journey. As a tutor, I hope to learn alongside participants and look forward to meeting new members!

Yutang Xie- Director of Education
Hi, my name is Yutang Xie, and I am an upcoming freshman at International Community School in Kirkland, Washington for the class of 2028. An avid programmer, I have competed in USACO contests and led my robotics team to the VEX V5 World Competition in Dallas, Texas as the lead programmer and drive team member. I am also a basketball and badminton enthusiast and have a passion for helping others, especially in the areas of computer science and math. To me, it is very rewarding to see others grow and succeed under my guidance. But I am not just a person who studies 24/7. You'll find me drawing, reading, and playing video games when I'm not at my robotics facility or coding at home. VK Tutors reflects this essence. With a unique approach and engaging classes, VK Tutors aims to bring kids to enjoy learning and develop excellent math skills along the way. I aspire to establish a strong passion for learning in all of our students.
Ziwen Gong- Director of Math Concepts
Welcome to VK Tutors! I'm Ziwen, and I will be part of Eastside Preparatory School's class of 2028 this fall. I've participated in the AMC 8, 10, and MATHCOUNTS math competitions as well as represented my school at the Math is Cool Championship and Masters competitions, winning our school 1st place at both with my team for 2 years in a row. Outside of mathematics, my other interests include badminton, piano performance, speech and debate, and alpine ski racing. My work as our student body's class representative has inspired me to deeply enjoy moments of interaction with other students, especially those in lower grades. As a part of VK Tutors, my goal is to not only help students develop mathematical skills but to also foster curiosity and positivity in all academic subjects, from STEM to liberal arts.
